Preview: The FUFA Drum returns with breathe-taking match day four games

As anticipated, the prestigious FUFA Drum tournament has clocked the most exciting stage.

Match day four returns with eight different games, five on Saturday, 14th April 2018 and the remaining three on the subsequent day.

The respective provinces have a lot to play for with a keen eye to seal qualification slots to the knock out stage.

Busoga, already on 9 points entertains Teso in a group A duel at the Kakindu stadium with the mission for maximum points to qualify for the quarter finals.

‘There is no room for error because we have the eyes set at the main prize’ Busoga head coach Charles Ayiekho Lukula noted.

Teso will not be a walk in the park, since, they are aware that any result short of a victory could spell doom for them.

Both Teso and Bugisu have four points apiece. Bugisu hosts neighbours Sebei at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.

In group B, Kigezi is at home to leaders Acholi at the Kabale Municipal Stadium whilst Buganda plays their second home game in the tournament at the Bishops S.S play ground in Mukono.

There is one match in group C as unbeaten Kampala makes the long trip away to Nyahuka ground in Bundibugyo to face Rwenzori Province.

It will be revenge ranking aloft Rwenzori’s wish lists since they lost 5-0 in the corresponding fixture on match day three.

Kampala, like Busoga will need a win to seal a quarter final berth.

On Sunday, there will be three matches. Ankole will host Karamoja at the Kyamatte play grounds in Ntungamo, Bunyoro will be home to Bukedi in Kiryandongo and Tooro hosts West Nile at the Buhinga stadium in Fort Portal.

His Majesty the King of Tooro Kingdom, His Majesty Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV has already confirmed to grace the match as chief guest where the Historical FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo will also attend.
