Proposals lined up for the 91st FUFA General Assembly

91st FUFA General Assembly – 26th September 2015

At Soroti Hotel

Days to the 91st Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Ordinary general assembly are now numbered as the D-day (26th September 2015) gets closer and closer.

The Ordinary General Assembly shall be held at Soroti Hotel , in the FUFA North Eastern region.

In reference to item agenda number 15, the discussion of proposals submitted by the members and the Executive committee were three;

1 – Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club proposed that the matter concerning the mandate to run the 1st Division competition (Azam Uganda Premier League) be put on the Agenda for General Assembly discussion and decision.

2- FUFA Executive Committee (24th August 2015) is putting a proposal in line with Article 19 of the FUFA Statures to the General Assembly to Bestow the Title of Honorary President upon Mr Adoko Nekyon for the meritorious service to Football.

Mr Adoko Nekyon was the FUFA President in 1968 and the top tier league in Uganda (Currently Uganda Premier League) was started during his reign.

3 – FUFA Executive Committee (24th August 2015) is putting a proposal in line with Article 19 of the FUFA Statutes to the General Assembly to Bestow the Title of Honorary Member upon. Mr. Bbaale Mugera for the Meritorious Service to football. Mr. Bbale Mugera was the chairman of Express F.C and has served Football with dedication and committed over the years.
