Queen Cranes 2-0 Mozambique (Agg: 8-0)
The U20 WNT (Queen Cranes) have qualified for the third round of the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers after eliminating Mozambique on Friday evening in a game played at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Goals from Phionah Nabulime in the 6th minute and Agnes Nabukenya in the 19th minute in the first half were enough to cement their victory at home after beating Mozambique 6:0 away in Mozambique last weekend.

U20 Women National Team head coach Ayub Khalifah Kiyingi said to the press that it was a good thing they secured the 3 points.

“Every game has its own approach, if I concede six I will have to correct my mistakes not to concede another six, I think that is what Mozambique did, as I communicated earlier scoring 6 goals will not be easy and as you have seen it was not easy” Ayub Noted
In the third qualification round Uganda will play the winner between Benin and Senegal next month.
