FUFA has selected f ive instructors to work with the FIFA instructors who will be in charge of the referees Elite Course at Njeru technical center from 24th -28th March. The selected local referees’ instructors are: Catherine Adipo, Abbas Sendyowa, Asuman Kityo, Ali Waisswa and Egesa Emmanuel.
The experienced instructors will handle well over 30 referees whose names were released last week by FUFA referees standing committee.
The list includes Uganda’s 13 FIFA referees.
The course will kick off with a physical fitness at Mandela National stadium on 24th March, with the rest of the exercise switching to Jinja for the referees who will have passed the test.
The FIFA course is a three-in-one as it will involve referees, referees assessors and referees physical fitness instructors for the five days of training.
The course will be conducted by Zimbabwean Felix Ntagawarima and Malawi’s Mark Ephraim Mzengo.
