The course is conducted by former FIFA assistant referee Ali Tomusange who officiated at the 2002 FIFA world cup in Japan/South Korea and CAF Referees Instructor Samuel Egesa who will be the chief examiner.
Referees beginners’ courses will also be held in the other seven FUFA regions-Kitara, Western, Northern, North East, West Nile, Buganda and Eastern.
‘We are looking for young and new faces to create a big pool of referees in the near future’ said Tomusange
The freshly enrolled referees will go through the laws of the game with theory and practical sessions.
