Uganda Cranes Regional Tour, Western Region – Bushenyi

Uganda Cranes Vs Western Region Select

Bushenyi Main Ground (4 PM)

Free Entrance

Uganda Cranes COSAFA bound team will have a trial match this Saturday  against a select side from Western region at the Bushenyi main ground.

The team head coach Abdallah Mubiru has named the starting line up to feature in this much anticipated regional tour game.

Mubiru believes that the team is good enough to help him assess the players’ preparedness ahead of the COSAFA Championship where Uganda will take part as a guest nation.

The boys have done incredibly well since the first day of training and I am happy they are grasping the principles. I am as well pleased that we are slowly getting to the desired fitness levels and for that matter the regional tour game is going to be a good test. The western team will come out very strong and hungry for victory to prove a point and that’s the level I expect my players to play at, push them for the entire 90 minutes and most importantly give the fans a good show by playing an entertaining game.’Mubiru noted.

The Cranes had their acclimatization training on Friday evening in front of a sizable crowd that came out to  and watched in admiration as their national team stars went about business.

Regional tours are organized by national team official sponsors Airtel Uganda and official beer partners Nile Special.
