FUFA wishes to inform all member clubs that, due to Uganda’s participation in the CHAN 2024 tournament to be hosted in East Africa and the AFCON Morocco 2025 Finals, adjustments have been made to the domestic football calendar in order to ensure proper alignment between national team activities and FUFA competitions.
The AFCON 2025 tournament will take place from December 2025 to January 2026. As a result, the secondary registration window for the 2025/2026 season has been revised.
The registration window will open on 1 February 2026 and close on 2 March 2026.
This adjustment has been made to allow for proper management of club transfers immediately after national team engagements and to ensure minimal disruption to the continuity and integrity of the Uganda Premier League and other affected competitions.
All clubs are therefore advised to plan and complete their transfer business within the revised registration period, ensure that all transfers are uploaded and validated through the TMS and FUFA Connect System within the stipulated timelines, and observe all player registration and licensing requirements as outlined in the regulations.
