3rd round, 2nd Leg: Sudan Vs Uganda [Uganda leads 2-0 on aggregate]
After the 2-0 win at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium last Saturday, the Uganda Cranes team composed of home based players had just a day’s rest before regrouping on Monday ahead of their return leg against Sudan in Khartoum.
Two players have been added to the team, Ambrose Kiirya from SC Villa and Aggrey Madoi of Jinja Minicipal Council Hippos to make a list of 25 players in camp .
The team traveled to the FUFA Technical center Njeru for their residential training camp.
At 5.30 p.m, the team arrived at Njeru where they had a few minutes to rest and later the team went for adjustment training.
At the training Head coach Milutin Sredojevic urged the players not to give up on what they have achieved so far because he believes the war is still on.
He added that the entire nation is looking to them either to let it down or fly the Uganda flag higher.
The team will have an early morning training and later in the evening at 4 O’clock.
