The Uganda Cranes marked their maiden training session at the Njeru technical center in Jinja for the return leg against Mauritania.

The team currently camping at Jinja Nile Resort received a big boost with the arrival of the Kenyan based professionals.
The Gor Mahia trio defender Godfrey Walusimbi, midfielder Geofrey ‘Baba’ Kizito and Striker Dan Walusimbi plus Tusker FC midfielder Aucho Khalid all trained with the team.

Sserunkuma, who scored two goals for his Gor Mahia team in the team’s 2 all draw with AFC Leopards on Sunday was a last minute call up following the groin injury to Yanga striker Emmanuel Okwi.
The 4 players were not heavily involved in the 2 and hour session at Njeru Technical center.
Kenyan based pros (L-R): Aucho Khalid, Baba Kizito, Godfrey Walusimbi and Dan Sserunkuma rested after some time. The fans turned in big numbers to catch their heroes in action.
The team , which resumes training on Tuesday with a double session will depart for West Africa on Thursday morning.

Iceland based professional Tonny Mawejje (FC Valur), Kizito Luwagga and Moses Oloya are expected to join the rest on Thursday in Senegal.
