RWANDA VS UGANDA: Kobs hold advantage after first leg 2-1 victory in Kigali

Rwanda 1-2 Uganda

Return leg: 30th May, 2015 at Nakivubo Stadium

Uganda Kobs (National under 23 side) have beaten their counterparts from Rwanda by 2-1 in an exciting game played at Amahoro stadium in Kigali.

Faruk Miya, the team captain for the Kobs opened the scoring with a decent 10th minute free kick before Rwanda equalized after 60 minutes through Dominique Savio Nshuti.

Second half substitute, Muzamiru Mutyaba got the winner moments after being introduced for injured Erisa Ssekisambu.

The Kobs will carry this lead come the second leg on the 30th May 2015 at Nakivubo Stadium in Kampala.

The winner over the two legs will play Egypt at the next stage for  a place at the finals in Senegal.

FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo was among hundreds of passionate Ugandans who played the 12th man role.
