The club crowned at the beginning of this week will now have to play the table leader from Kitara regional league to determine the winner into the FUFA Big League next season.
Speaking at the crowning ceremony held at Rukungiri Municipal stadium, FUFA Vice President Chris Kalibbala urged club officials to ensure discipline of their players as a way of developing quality and competitive talents. Rushere FC finished second with 23 points while Ibanda United trailed with 10 points on the table.
Regional Chairperson Abbas Ssendyowa attended the function.
