SC Vila Jogoo vs Express FC match to be played on 7th November

The League organisers of the top flight Uganda Premier League have fixed a new date for the Sc Villa vs Express FC match that wasn’t played last Friday due to the unplayable pitch at Nakivubo Stadium.

The match was called off due a water logged ground after a heavy afternoon pour a few hours before the match.

‘A new date Saturday 7th November, 2015 has been set for the fixture between Sc Villa Jogoo and Express FC.  Other fixtures that had been rescheduled have got new dates’ said Uganda Premier League Chief Executive Officer Bernard Bainamani.

He added ‘Some of the matches not yet rescheduled will get new dates soon’

The new dates for some of the matches that had been postponed due to various reasons.

Friday 6th November, 2015: Vipers vs Police -Buikwe 4.30pm

Friday 6th November, 2015: KCCA FC vs Bright stars FC  4.30pm

Saturday 7th November, 2015: Sc Villa vs Express FC 4pm

Meanwhile the Azam Uganda Premier League resumes on Tuesday with the following fixtures on card;

Tuesday 3rd November, 2015

Police vs Maroons in Kavumba, Live on Azam TV at 4pm

Express FC vs Soana 4.30pm

Sadolin vs Sc Villa Jogoo in Bugembe 4.30pm

Simba vs BULFC in Bombo-4.30pm

JMC Hippos vs URA at Kakindu Stadium, 4.30pm

KCCA vs Lweza FC at Nakivubo stadium, 4.30pm

Vipers vs Bright Stars FC in Buikwe, 4.30pm

Caesar Okhuti still leads the scorers’ chart with 5 goals while Miya Faruku of Vipers and Mutyaba Muzamir of KCCA FC are tied on 4 goals each.
