One of the members on the FUFA Technical panel Kalusha Bwalya searching for the next Uganda Cranes coach has arrived in the country.
Kalusha was named to head the 5 man panel that will guide the FUFA Executive on the next coach following the resignation of former Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic.
Kalusha Bwalya was received at FUFA House in Mengo on Tuesday morning by the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo and FUFA CEO Edgar Watson.

‘I am here as part of the technical team to give guidance on the new Uganda Cranes coach. I have total belief that Uganda Cranes is a fantastic team is a force to reckon with on the continent at the moment’ said Kalusha Bwalya when he visited the 102.1 FUFA fm-official radio of FUFA.

‘The selection of the new coach will help Uganda prepare well for the next international engagements. Zambia and Uganda are in the same group of the 2018 CHAN Finals. The matches between these two countries are always a joy to watch’ added Kalusha.

The FUFA President also had a word to say following the arrival of Kalusha in Uganda.

‘Kalusha is here to help us play a role in providing knowledge on the applicants for the job. The onus to name the net Uganda Cranes coach lies in the hands of the FUFA Executive. We are glad Government has shown great signs to support with payment of salary for our next coach’ said FUFA President Magogo.

‘Over 90 applications were received for the job’ added Magogo.

Kalusha was taken on a guided tour of FUFA House and the studios of 102.1 FUFA Fm-the football radio. He visited every office as was guided by the FUFA CEO Edgar Watson.

Bwalya will meet the minister of State for Sports Hon Charles Bakkabulindi.
