Sekisambu nets against former Club to take Vipers to the top of table

Vipers’ Erisa Sekisambu scored against his former employers Sc Villa Jogoo but never celebrated-as a sign of respect for the team he guided to Uganda Cup glory last season.

Vipers beat Sc Villa Jogoo 2-1 at the Mandela National stadium, Namboole on Friday evening. Another recruit William Wadri during the off season from Proline FC netted the other goal for the reigning champions who moved to he top of the table with 14points from 6 games.

Villa’s goal was scored by Dennis Kamanzi.

Meanwhile Vipers also edged Sc Villa 2-1 in the FUFA Juniors League of players under 17. The game was played on the same pitch starting at 1pm.
