Sepp Blater sends congratulatory message to Magogo

FIFA boss: Sepp Blatter

FIFA President Sepp Blatter is among the football family members who have sent congratulatory messages to new Ugandan FA leader Eng. Moses Magogo.

“Since my election, I have been overwhelmed with the congratulatory messages from individuals and organizations. I thank everybody who has shared a moment of happiness with me during this time”, remarked Magogo.

Among the messages received included one from the President of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Mr. Sepp Blatter who sounded optimistic that Magogo will consolidate the achievements so far registered and scale up new heights.

“I am certain that your knowledge and personal qualities will have an important impact on the stable development of our beautiful game in your country” reads the official message from Zurich.

There were also messages received from the CAF President Dr. Issa Hayatou, CECAFA President Eng. Leodgar Tenga, the FA leaders of Jordan, Zambia, Senegal, Japan and England among others.

Magogo was elected unopposed to the country’s most top football seat in August after all the other contenders were found illegible to contest. He polled 68 votes out of the 72 delegates who turned up for the election exercise.
