She Corporate FC are the Winners of the 2023/24 FUFA Women Elite League after edging Olila High School WFC in the final on Saturday at Standard High School Zzana, Ndejje campus.
The Sharks overcame Olila 6-5 on penalties after a closely contested game ended goalless in normal time.
She Corporate had several scoring chances in normal time but failed to put them away but eventually claimed the coveted title after a tense penalty shootout.
The game was watched by FUFA 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha who also officiated the crowning ceremony alongside FUFA Executive Committee Member Rogers Mulindwa.
In the shootout, Grace Nassongo was the only player who failed to convert for She Corporate while Marion Amangat and Esther Aanyu missed on Olila’s side.
