The Founder of Soccer2Unite Suzanne Fortune paid a courtesy visit to FUFA Headquarters in Mengo on Monday morning where she held talks with the FUFA CEO Edgar Watson and Vice President Darius Mugoye on football related matters.
Suzanne is well known for bringing together young players both male and female in Kabale with an aim of giving them a chance to further their education and develop football talent.

On her first ever visit to FUFA House she met the FUFA CEO Mr. Edgar Watson and was impressed with what she saw at the FA Headquarters.

‘I have read about FUFA’s core value and they are in line with ours. We feel so fortunate and appreciate to be a part of the system. We want to be in a long term partnership with FUFA’ says Suzanne who was in company of her son Mark and Soccer2Unite Coordinator in Uganda Andrew Amanya.

Suzanne presented to the CEO and FUFA Vice President plans of continuous organization of the Youth football tournaments in Kabale and starting a Juniors League in the same district for boys and girls.

‘Allowing girls to play soccer has increased their confidence levels, self-esteem, taught them how to persevere and deal with diversity, together teaching them leadership skills which we feel is very important to women in the society. We are very thankful to FUFA for providing a platform to all children and adults to play football in Uganda’ added Suzanne.

Both the FUFA CEO and Vice President Mugoye welcomed the visit by Suzanne and promised to give a helping hand in taking football to another level in the Western region especially in Kabale.
