‘One of the games I remember in the Uganda Cup is when we faced Express FC at the semifinal sin 1985. We had played against SC Villa at the quarter-final and we won 2-1 where I scored one of the goals. Express was our next opponent in the Semifinal. The game was 3-3 and we won a penalty in the dying minutes. Steven Segujja the Express FC goalkeeper then ran away from the goal until it was dark and the game was abandoned. We refused to replay the game & Sports Minister at that time James Rwanyarare intervened. We later agreed to replay the game and I scored the goal from an assist by the late Hassan Biruma cross. We played Nile FC in the finals and I assisted Davies Kamoga to score the goal. but there was an incident that led Nile FC abandon the match thus we were crowed winners‘ Fred Musisi Kiyingi stated.
