The Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 draw was conducted on Monday morning, live in the studios of FUFA Tv. The draw was carried out by Uganda Cranes legend and former vice-captain Hassan Wasswa Mawanda, who won the Cup with SC Villa in 2014.
Cup holders Kitara FC were drawn against Kampala Region side CATDA, who host their games at Kakungulu Memorial School playgrounds. Joint record holders Express FC will travel to Yumbe to face West Nile Region side Total FC, while KCCA FC will also travel to Arua to take on West Nile Region side Kuluva FC. Last season’s finalists, NEC FC, will travel to Lira to face Big League side Blacks Power FC.
The draw procedure had no seeding, with all 32 teams placed in a single pot. The first team drawn in each fixture will be the home team.
The match format will be a single-leg knockout, with each fixture in the Round of 32 decided by a single match. The team that scores more goals during the match will advance to the Round of 16.
If the match ends in a draw after regular time, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout.
The matches will be played between 19th February and 28th February 2025.
