Stanbic Uganda Cup: Vipers SC emerge Winners | 49th Edition

The 49th Edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup came to an end at Akiibua Memorial Stadium in Lira on June 3rd, 2023, as Police FC suffered a 1-0 defeat in the hands of the current league champions, Vipers SC.

Milton Karisa’s header from Bright Anukani’s corner kick in the 15th minute was enough to seal the scoreline for Vipers SC.

This is the third cup for Vipers SC and their first time to secure a double within a season.

The Stanbic Uganda Cup Final was attended by the FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim, Executive Commitee Members Dr. Apollo Ahimbisibwe, Dan Obote and Agnes Mugena, FUFA CEO Edgar Watson, FUFA Deputy CEO Decolas Kiiza
