Proline FC 2-1 Blacks Power FC

Proline FC had to come from a goal down to overcome resilient Blacks Power FC in the StarTimes FUFA Big League playoff game played on Sunday.

Despite trailing at the break, Proline showed strong character in the second half to eventually win the game 2-1.
Blacks Power FC had taken the lead through Paul Eria Emokori but Proline staged a comeback to score two goals in the second half. Brian Mato and Brian Umony netted a goal apiece.

Emokori opened the scores with a powerful header in the 18th minute when he was found unmarked inside the area.
However, Proline FC remained calm despite trailing and became a better side in the second stanza.

The introduction of Hakim Kiwanuka and Joshua Okiror helped Proline FC to make more numbers upfront and kept creating chance after chance.

Right back Brian Mato levelled matters five minutes after restart with his low drive finding the back of the net.
Umony who came off the bench replacing Hamis Kizza headed home the winner in the 83rd minute to all but seal victory for Proline FC.

The final promotional playoff game therefore will be between Proline FC and Gaddafi FC who defeated Nyamityobora FC in the early game.
