Statement: Crested Cranes head coach enrolls for CAF B Coaching Course in Kenya

Uganda Women’s National Team (Crested Cranes) head coach, Faridah Bulega has enrolled for the CAF B Coaching Course from 6th September to 15th December 2021 in Nairobi, Kenya.

‘The FUFA Executive Committee took a decision to continue improving Women football in Uganda. Since 2013 Women football in Uganda has grown in leaps and bounds but the Executive believes that improving capacity building and creating a pool of more qualified coaches are key areas for the game to move to another level.  FUFA capitalized on an opportunity from FIFA through a special project dubbed ‘FIFA Women Coach Education Scholarship’ noted FUFA Communications Director Ahmed Hussein.

The FIFA funded programme is designed to empower more female coaches in women football.

‘We would like to thank FIFA for supporting women football development around the globe more so in Uganda. We also extend our gratitude to the Football Kenya Federation that will host our Coach during the period for the coaching course’ added Hussein.

Bulega will leave for Nairobi on Sunday, 5th September 2021.
