Wakiso Hill WFC – Makerere University WFC, St Mary’s Kitende

She Corporate FC – She Maroons FC, Kyabazinga Stadium

Fort Portal City will host a cracker of a match when Olila HS WFC and Tooro Queens go neck-to-neck in their quest to avoid relegation. A win for either side will bolster their survival chances as the two sides are separated by just a point thanks to Tooro Queens exploits last weekend that saw them pull off a surprise collecting maximum points away at She Maroons to leapfrog Olila HS WFC on 14 points in the 11th place. Having lost to Lady Doves in their last game at home in Soroti a result against a direct challenger will be good but the country Queens will be hoping to build on the away result to bolster their chances further.

Riness will be looking for redemption after their humbling 4-0 loss away at Kampala Queens last weekend. They host Uganda Martyrs Ladies at Kabaka Kyabaggu in what promises to be an interesting encounter. Last weekend Latifah Nakasi notched twice against Wakiso Hill WFC to 2-1 after the visitors had taken an unlikely lead.

Kawempe Muslim visit soaring Lady Doves, who are 4th on the table hoping to get a positive result that would see them reduce the 8-point gap between them and the table leaders Kampala Queens who will not be in action this weekend. The defending champions sit in 2nd place on 32 points

Lady Doves on the other hand have their eyes on the 3rd spot occupied by Amus College WFC on 27 points but are not playing this weekend. A win will help them take third place and hope Amus slips in future.

With their relegation survival hopes fading every passing match day, Wakiso Hill is fighting what could easily become the worst run in the history of the women’s football league in the country. With 16 match days completed, the ‘Antelopes’ are yet to win a game and sit bottom of the table on 5 points amassed from the 5 draws they have managed. They host more or less consistent Makerere University WFC at St Mary’s kitende hoping this could be the day they get to test victory.

She Corporate will be eagerly wanting to put an end to their recent poor run that has seen them lose their last 3 games and left them entangled in the relegation survival battles. Their most recent loss to Makerere University last weekend saw them drop to 9th place tied on 15 points with Tooro Queens and just one point above Olila HS WFC trapped in the relegation zone on 14 points.

Coming from a surprising home loss to Tooro Queens, 7th-placed She Maroons are expected to put up a challenge as they try to avoid a second loss on the bounce and sinking further.
