Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) has successfully defended the FUFA Super League (FSL) title following a 3 – 1 home win over arch rivals Sports Club Villa at the KCCA Stadium in Lugogo on Tuesday.
The newly crowned champions will also get 15 million shillings from FUFA.
Former SC Villa player, Steven Bengo opened the scoring for KCCA with a 21st minute strike before defender Ronnie Kisekka made it 2 – 0 by the half time mark
KCC FC accumulates 60 points from 30 games, 1 ahead of ahead of second placed Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) who labored to 1-0 win at home over Bright stars courtesy of a late Savio Kabugo headed effort at Mandela National stadium, Namboole.
William Wadri made it three before Kiseeka a deflection gave SC Villa a late consolation.
At Kavumba recreational stadium, Benson Ociti scored a hat trick for Police and help his team win 3 – 0 at home.
Nasser Muzamiru and Sserubogo scored for Entebbe in their 2 all draw at Wankulukuku against Express.
At the Bombo Stadium, Simba beat Proline 2 – 1 to send the already relegated side to the FUFA Big league next season.
At Mbale Municipal Stadium, home side, CRO lost 0 – 1 to the visiting Soana courtesy of Francis Olaki’s penalty.
Proline, Masaka and CRO have been relegated. Already Sadolin Paints have earned automatic qualification to the top flight. The other two slots are yet to be decided.
