TANZANIA VS UGANDA: Cranes Trains At Amaan Stadium

CHAN 2016 QUALIFIER (1ST LEG):

Tanzania Vs Uganda – Amaan Stadium, Zanzibar

The Uganda Cranes team trained at the Amman Stadium on Friday evening (at 8 p.m) under floodlights.

The team managed to go through light recovery training at the match day venue as mandated by the CAF rules and regulations.

While having the training session coach Micho stressed on scoring opportunities, attacking and defending in numbers, space awareness and agility of players.

Micho feels an way goal will be of vital value to determine the fate of the two legged tie.

All the players completed the session pretty well and Ugandans should expectant of good results on Saturday.

Meanwhile, CAF confirmed Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) referees from Rwanda to handle Saturday’s  first leg of the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) first leg at the Amman Stadium.

The officials, Hudu Munyeme (center referee), Ambroise Hakizimana (first assistant), Justin Karangwa (second assistant) and Issa Kagabo (fourth official) all from Rwanda are already in Zanzibar.

In the other related development, the Azam Uganda Premier League Most valuable player of season 2014/15 Farouk Miya believes the team is ready to  win in Zanzibar.

We are not here for adventure. We have come to win and make it easy for us in the second leg.

Miya said

Winner between Tanzania and Uganda will play against Sudan in the next stage.

The match will be aired live on 102.1 FUFA fm by Omulangira Hassan Kirunda.

Nicholas Musonye from Kenya will be the match commissioner.
