The community outreach programme kicked off with Rubaga division (at the Busega Community play ground) before a demonstration was held at Kisubi as a pilot project on request of the Guides and Scouts movement.

The FUFA National grassroots coordinator, Willis Muwanguzi believes the programme is one way of taking the beautiful game closer to the local communities with emphasis on tapping young players from as early as 6 years.
