The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has received a lot of praise from The Bible Society of Uganda for giving them an opportunity to extend their teaching lessons to the football family.
The course that targets coaches and guides them on how to handle traumatized players during their playing careers attracted well close to 100 participants.
The Coordinator of the Trauma Healing Project at the Bible Society of Uganda Esther Achieng is hopeful that the course will help the coaches a lot on how to handle their players who are going through tough times in their lives.
‘There are players who walk on the pitch while grieving and even not in their moods to play. But we are confident this course will help the coaches on how to handle such moments’ said Achieng.
The course facilitators were Dorothy Rita Pulle and Fr. Claudio Ssegonja from the Prisons Family Ministry Uganda.
A certificate of appreciation was handed over to the FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo by The Bile Society’s Achieng while FUFA Finance Director Decolas Kiiza graced the closing ceremony as he handed over certificates to the participants.
