TOTAL AFCON 2019 FINALS
Groups:
- A: Egypt, DR Congo, Uganda, Zimbabwe
- B: Nigeria, Guinea, Madagascar, Burundi
- C: Senegal, Algeria, Kenya, Tanzania
- D: Morocco, Cote D’Voire, South Africa, Namibia
- E: Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania, Angola
- F: Cameroon, Ghana, Benin, Guinea Bissau
Uganda will play at the TOTAL AFCON 2019 finals, for the 7th title since the tournament inception in 1957.
The CECAFA giants were grouped in group A along with the hosts Egypt, neighbors DR Congo and Zimbabwe.
The draw was held in Giza, Egypt on Friday night, attended by the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, Third Vice president Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre and national teams’ officer Patrick Ntege.
The other groups are; Nigeria, Guinea, Madagascar, Burundi (group B), Senegal, Algeria, Kenya, Tanzania (group C), Morocco, Cote D’Voire, South Africa, Namibia (group D), Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania, Angola (group E) and Cameroon, Ghana, Benin, Guinea Bissau (group F).
The tournament kicks off on 19th June and wind up a month later, on 19th July 2019.
