The Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre has named the 11 players who will start against hosts Egypt during the final group A match at Cairo International Stadium.
Three new faces start their first game at the tournament. Nico Wakiro Wadada starts at right back, Timothy Awany in central defence and Allan Kyambadde at left wing attack.
The rest of the team is virtually unchanged. Denis Onyango is in goal. Godfrey Walusimbi at left back, Awany will play alongside Hassan Wasswa Mawanda in central midfield.
Abdu Lumala starts on one flank and Allan Kyambadde on the other. Mike Azira, Faruku Miya, Khalid Aucho are all in a compacted midfield.
Emmanuel Arnold Okwi who has two goals in the tournament starts as the lone striker.
Zimbabwe will face off with DR Congo at the 30th June Stadium, Cairo at the same time.
Egypt has already sealed the round of 16 berth with six points, Uganda Cranes has four points, Zimbabwe (one) and DR Congo has no point from two games.
Senegalese referee Maguette Ndiaye is in charge of the game. Elvis Guy Noupue Nguegoue from Cameroon is first assistant referee as Burkina Faso’s Seydou Tiama is the second assistant referee.
