TOTAL AFCON 2019 qualifiers: Full board as Uganda Cranes execute double training sessions

The Uganda Cranes camp at the Kabira Country Club, Bukoto is full board with all the players reported.
Goalkeeper Salim Jamal was the last player to report for duty and trained with the rest of the players on Wednesday, the same day that the national team had the launch of a new kit.
There were double sessions for the team in the morning and afternoon.
In the morning, the session lasted for close to two hours and was trimmed down in the afternoon to one hour.
For either sessions, the players expressed ultimate commitment, passion and the desire to give their all as the team prepares for the double header against Lesotho.

South African based winger Allan “Dancing Rasta” Kateregga, who plays for Cape Town City Football Club told the media after the morning training that they are focused for the game at hand against Lesotho.
“Our strategy is to play football. We are targeting victories from these two matches. We are yearning to win and everyone is focused. We are taking this chance with both our hands” Kateregga disclosed.
In the same spirit, midfielder Ibrahim Sadam Juma, who plays at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC expresses the urge to improve on the weak departments where the team needs to polish up coming to the double header;
“We need six points. We are aware of the threat posed by Lesotho and that is why we are not underrating them. We need to improve on the mistakes done from the previous game against Tanzania. We need to create, score and defend well. The mood in the camp is right and best” Sadam noted.
The Thursday session will be held behind closed doors as the team continues to prepare for the Saturday and Tuesday matches.
