The Uganda Cranes opponents (Cape Verde) for the penultimate AFCON 2019 group L qualifier this Saturday at Mandela National Stadium have safely arrived on Thursday afternoon.
The delegation of 35 people with 24 players and 11 officials was received by the FUFA Protocol team that had Richard Nandigobe and delegate Sande Moni.
They were driven to Sheraton Kampala Hotel in Kampala where they are to be accommodated for the duration of their stay in the country.
“We are happy to be in Uganda. We shall play our best against Uganda which I am aware are a good side” Cape Verde head coach Rui Aguas disclosed to the media in an interview held at Entebbe International Airport.

The team is expected to conduct their last training on Friday (starting at 4 PM) at Namboole.
Meanwhile, the Uganda Cranes team trained on Thursday afternoon at Namboole and will engage the media during the press conference before their Friday morning training.
Team captain Denis Onyango and head coach Sebastien Desabre are expected to address the media at the Namboole board room before the team will perfect their last training.
