Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry has confirmed the starting XI to face Burkina Faso on Wednesday night at the Stade 4 Aout in Ouagadougou City.
Denis Onyango, the team captain starts in goal. Bevis Mugabi at right and Joseph Ochaya at left back.
The pairing of Timothy Awany and Murushid Jjuuko will play in central defence.
The midfield has US based Mike Azira, Khalid Aucho, Abdul Lumala and Faruku Miya.
Emmanuel Arnold Okwi and Patrick Kaddu are the forwards on the team.
On the substitutes’ bench are two goalkeepers in Robert Odongkara and Charles Lukwago.
Other players are; Nico Wadada, Isaac Muleme, Hassan Wasswa, Halid Lwaliwa,Taddeo Lwanga, William Luwagga Kizito, Alexis Bakka, Allan Kyambadde, Fahad Bayo and Allan Okello.
Uganda Cranes will play the second game on Sunday, 17th November 2019 at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole against Malawi in a duel that has been dubbed “366 Back To Namboole with Cranes”.
