Uganda Cranes on Wednesday continued with their residential training ahead of the Total Africa Cup of Nations championship that will be held in Gabon.
The morning session was dedicated to theory and practical education with the refereeing department to help the players be abreast of the latest laws of the game.
In the evening, the players took to the field of play at IUIU Girls Campus in Kabojja where they conducted a number of drills with and without the ball.
The afternoon session lasted for about 2 and a half hours with ball work, short game situation with offensive and defensive formations.
They were joined by Mamelodi Sundowns goalie, Dennis Onyango who watched the entire training session.
Onyango confirmed to www.fufa.co.ug that the resting period which he was granted by the technical and medical departments has been so useful to facilitate his full recovery.
Many may think i have been totally resting. No, i have been working out on the upper body but nevertheless, the rest has been so useful to help me recover from the fatigue after a long season.
Meanwhile, Standard Liege midfielder Faruku Miya arrived on Wednesday night and was driven straight to the team base at Serene Suites in Mutundwe.
Miya will attend the Thursday sessions.
