Total CHAN 2018-Kenya: South Sudan, Uganda Cranes share the spoils in exciting first leg

TOTAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF AFRICAN NATIONS QUALIFIERS (1ST ROUND, 1ST LEG):

South Sudan 0-0 Uganda Cranes

Uganda Cranes drew goal-less with the South Sudan Bright Stars in the first round of the Total CHAN 2018 qualifier at the Juba stadium in Juba city on Friday evening.

The Cranes attacked in numbers throughout the game but were unlucky to return home without a goal.

Team captain Geofrey Sserunkuma missed a second half kick from the penalty mark effort.

The match was broadcast live on 102.1 FUFA f.m (by Lawrence Bwanika).

The return leg will be played on 22nd July 2017 at the Star Times Stadium in Lugogo, Kampala.

The successful winner on aggregate will face either Tanzania or Rwanda at the second round.
