The Uganda Cranes team that traveled to Moroni, the capital of Comoros is expected to arrive in Uganda, at Entebbe International Airport on Tuesday, 8th September 2015 at 8:10 p.m on a Kenyan Airways flight.
Uganda picked a memorable 1-0 away victory over Comoros at the Mitsamouli stadium to go top of group D (since Botswana beat Burkina Faso in the other group).
Midfielder Tonny Mawejje of Thróttur Reykjavík Football Club in the Iceland premier league scored the all important goal in the 22nd minute of the game.
Uganda Cranes goal keeper, Denis Onyango saved a penalty as the game neared the end.
The team travel to and from Comoros was fully facilitated by the President of Uganda, H.E General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, gesture to which FUFA is so much appreciative.
FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo was the head of delegation.
