Uganda National U- 17 football team, The Cubs successfully returned home on Tuesday night.

They touched down at Entebbe International Airport aboard Kenyan Airlines at 7:20 p.m.

The team was welcomed at the Airport by FUFA Vice President, Darius Mugoye.

“We thank you for the first leg victory but it is a job half done as we still have the second leg to play. Just like we beat them, they can shock us too. So we have to prepare well”, Mugoye told the youngsters.

OFF TO NJERU: The Cubs members boarded to Njeru Technical Center.

The team was driven straight to the Njeru Technical Center where they will camp prior the return leg for 28th June 2014 at Nakivubo Stadium.

The team’s head coach Matia Lule assured the country of a positive home result.

“The away match was good. We shall work on the few mistakes done during the first leg so that we do not repeat them as we seek to advance to next stage of qualification against Rwanda” he told fufa.co.ug.

ARRIVAL: Team officials at Entebbe International Airport arrival lounge on Tuesday night.

Matia will appear before the media on Wednesday during the weekly Press conference at FUFA House.

Seychelles arrive on Thursday, 26th June 2014 and will depart the country on Sunday 29th June after their game.
