The Uganda Cubs emerged winners of the CECAFA Zone U17 AFCON Qualifiers after defeating Tanzania 2-1 in a final at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo on Friday, December 27th, 2024.
Two second-half goals from Arafat Nkoola and James Bogere were enough to see off Tanzania who scored first through Abel Josiah Samson in the first half.
