- Uganda Cranes 4-0 Kampala Region
The Uganda Cranes pool of home based players warmed up for the up-coming AFCON 2019 group L qualifier against Tanzania with a 4-0 win over Kampala region select side at the Star Times Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday.
Dan Sserunkuma scored twice with Allan Okello and second half substitute Bright Anukani adding the other two goals.
All the goals came in the second half after Kampala region had staged a gallant fight in the opening 45 minutes.
Sserunkuma, a first half substitute combined with Brian Majwega who had come on at the start of the second half for the opener after 57 minutes.
Okello had a great curl past the goalkeeper six minutes later.
Sserunkuma completed his brace with 17 minutes left on the clock with another Majwega assist before Anukani completed the misery for Kampala after combining with David Owori.
The well attended match was also graced by the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, first vice president Darius Mugoye, FUFA CEO Edgar Watson, Executive Committee members, delegates and general public.
The final team to travel for the training camp in Egypt will be confirmed by the head coach Sebastien Desabre.
