The Uganda Cranes contingent arrived safely in Brazzaville on Friday morning ahead of their last group E 2018 Russia FIFA World cup qualifying tie against Congo.
The two teams will faceoff on Sunday 12th November at Unite De Kintele Stadium in Brazzaville. The match kicks off at 5:30pm East African standard time (3.30pm in Congo).
The Cranes who started their journey from Entebbe Airport went through Nairobi before their final destination in Brazzaville at the M-Maya international Airport.
‘The players are in good shape and ready to play the hosts Congo’ said Team Coordinator Crispus Muyinda.
The Contingent is accommodated at Hotel Saphir in Brazzaville 10 km away from the Airport.
Today’s programme will see the head coach Moses Basena take his players though light drills at 5.30pm.
Egypt, who already made the cut to the Russia 2018 World cup Finals top group E with 12 points, Uganda lies second with 7 points while Ghana and Congo are 3rd and 4th with 6 and 4 points respectively.
