‘The most important thing we finally got that goal which handed us the victory. It was very important for us to win as it boosts the players’ morale and confidence as we get closer to the kick-off of the championship added Mubiru who is standing in for Head coach Sebastien Desabre now another Uganda Cranes Senior Preliminary Squad preparing for the 2019 AFCON Finals.
Mubiru continued to say that the regional tour game organised by the national team official sponsors Airtel Uganda and the official beer partners Nile Special was very important as it availed him with another opportunity to assess his players’ potential and understanding who plays better where, with whom and when.
