After Wednesday’s training at Fufa Technical Centre in Njeru, Uganda Cranes tactician, Sredojevic ‘Micho’ Milutin confirmed Sc Villa experienced player Hassan Wasswa will captain the team ahead of the Saturday’s game against Tanzania in Zanzibar. URA FC striker Robert Ssentongo who finished as top scorer in the Azam Uganda Premier League last season will deputise Wasswa.
Wasswa will lead the team because he has experience in this competition since it is not his first time

Hassan Wasswa who is fresh from featuring in the Uganda Cup final where he helped his side Sc Villa beat KCC 3-0 to lift the silverware says he is unfazed by Tanzania’s game on Saturday.
We have played Tanzania before and gotten good results but we shall not rely on that. Our aim is to win away. It’s good we have some new faces in the squad so it will be so hard for Tanzania to know who mark. The boys are set and ready to die a little for their country on Saturday.
said Hassan Wasswa.
Meanwhile Coach Micho still keeps the traveling squad to his chest until Thursday when the team will be leaving for Zanzibar aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
The team will have a morning feel of the turf at 7 am on Thursday before proceeding to Entebbe International Airport at 1 pm.
