Saturday 1^st June: Uganda Cranes Vs Lesotho

Durban – South Africa

The Uganda Cranes COSAFA bound team left the country in high spirits on Wednesday afternoon.

A contingent of 29 people (20 players and 9 officials) embarked on their journey to Durban City, South Africa on Wednesday at 3:00 PM aboard South Africa Airlines.

Proline’s youngster Bright Anukani leads the other players at Entebbe International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.

The head coach Abdallah Mubiru lauded FUFA for the sound preparations and vowed a great fight at the tournament where Uganda has been invited by the organizers.

‘We have had great preparations and I thank the Federation. The players are physically and mentally ready for the task in thy midst.’ Abdallah Mubiru stated before the team checked out.

Mubiru is deputized by Livingstone Mbabazi and Sadiq Wassa as the goalkeeping coach.

Uganda Cranes will play Lesotho this Saturday, 1st June 2019 in Durban city.
