Uganda Cranes have settled in well in Lome at Hotel Sarakawa after jetting in this afternoon in West Africa. Following a five hour and five mins flight from Addis Ababa today morning, the Cranes are fired up for the game against Togo on Wednesday night.
The team arrived in Lome at 1.05pm Local time and was booked in at Hotel Sarakawa just a few metres away from the Atlantic Ocean.
The players are in good spirits having had deserved rest in Addis Ababa yesterday and this morning before the contingent flew out to Togo.
Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has already planned an evening training session for the players in about two hours time.
Leader of Delegation and FUFA Executive Committee member Rogers Byamukama is happy with the accommodation and mood the players are in.
‘The spirits are high. The players are looking forward to Wednesday’s game. The travel arrangement has not been hectic and we believe the players will benefit a lot in preparation for the game’ said Byamukama.
FUFA Technical committee chairman Hamid Juma is also in Lome to follow the proceedings.
Th match will be played at Stade De Kutgue-which is just 8 kms from the Team Hotel.
