Final: Vipers SC vs Onduparaka FC on 18th June, 2016 at Nakivubo stadium
Vipers Sports Club and Onduparaka have progressed to the finals of the Uganda Cup that will be played on Saturday, 18th June 2016 at Nakivubo Stadium.
This followed the return legs action of the two semi finals played on Sunday afternoon.
At the Buikwe stadium, Vipers lost 1-0 to Kampala Capital City Authority with Derrick Nsibambi scoring the lone strike.
Vipers progress 2-1 on aggregate having won the first leg 1-0 at Nakivubo stadium.
At the Green Light play ground in Arua, home side Onduparaka whipped Entebbe 4-0 to progress 5-0 on aggregate.
Team captain, Muhammed Shaban scored a brace as Gadaffi Gadinho and Rashid Agau completed the rout.
The final will be hosted by Kampala region at Nakivubo Stadium.
The winner of the Uganda Cup earns a ticket to represent the country at the CAF Confederation cup next year.
Sports Club Villa Jogoo is the ousted champion. They were ejected by Onduparaka FC.
