UGANDA CUP FINAL UPDATE: KCC beats Police 4-1 in a friendly game

KCC FC coach George Nsimbe is beaming with confidence ahead of Saturday’s Uganda Cup final with rivals URA FC at Mbale Municipal stadium. Nsimbe has already won the FUFA League title and will be hoping to complete a double in Mbale.

During a brief interview after watching his side defeat Police FC 4-1 in a buildup match played at KCCA stadium in Lugogo, Nsimbe said his team is in good shape.

‘No worries at all.  We need to win and make history this season’ said Nsimbe ahead of the climax of Uganda’s most famous knockout football tournament.

Fresh from Cranes camp, midfielders Gadafi Kiwanuka, Brian Majwega, Ivan Ntege and youngster Derrick Ntege found the back of the net for KCC FC against the cops today while Henry Mwanje scored Police FC’s consolation from the spot kick after Habib Kavuma handled the ball in the forbidden area.

In the FUFA super League this season: KCCA beat URA 3-1 in Lugazi and drew 1-1 at Lugogo.
