The New Vision have continued with their great run in the Uganda Cup by edging out Bweyogerere FC 1-0 on Sunday evening.
Richard Mugerwa netted the all important goal to take his team to the quarterfinals of the Kampala Region Football Association Preliminaries.
The New Vision who beat Ntinda 2-1 in the first round will now play Future Stars FC in the quarterfinals at Maroons Stadium, Luzira.

There was also victory for St Mary’s Nabweru who ejected Kamwokya FC 1-0 thanks to Dan Arinaitwe’s goal. St Mary’s had earlier in the first round beaten Dan Walusimbi’s Kyokeza FC of Bweyogerere 3-2 in Nabweru. Walusimbi played the entire 90 minutes of the match.
Kampala region is allocated four slots at the round of 64 in the Uganda cup.
