UGANDA CUP: Semifinal, final dates released

The FUFA Competitions committee (FCC) has announced the dates for the semifinals and final of the Uganda cup.

While addressing the media today during the weekly FUFA press Conference, the FCC Manager Ali Mwebe revealed that the last four stage games will be played on 9^th May for the first leg and return leg on 23^rd May.

The final has tentatively been fixed for 31^st May, 2014 subject to Uganda Cranes involvement in the 2015 Nations cup campaign. It is not clear whether the Cranes will be handed a home or away fixture on the same weekend the Uganda cup final has been earmarked to be played in Mbale.

The first leg fixtures will see URA take on Jinja Municipal Council FC while Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU)  play either KCC FC or Lweza FC who meet this Friday in the remaining quarterfinal slot.

2^nd Leg semifinals

23^rd May, 2014 JMC vs URA

23^rd May, 2014: SCVU vs KCC/Lweza
