Simba Football club bid farewell to the Uganda cup after being knocked out by Ntoda FC of Ntungamo at the round of 32. Normal time ended 1-1 before the penalties were applied to decide the winner. Juma Kwizera netted Ntoda’s goal in normal time. During the shoot outs Ntoda who are enjoying the moment in the second most prestigious football tournament in Uganda, won 5-4. Ntoda will now be included in the r for the round of 16.
Meanwhile at Namboole stadium, The Saints FC never played their game as Masindi Tigers failed to show up.
Simba joins Bright Stars, Soana and Kira Young on the sidelines are all have been ejected from the Uganda cup.
