Uganda Hippos (U20) registered their fourth consecutive win as they continue with preparations for the U20 AFCON tournament scheduled between 19th and 11th March 2023.
They defeated Bul FC 2-0 which was their second meeting at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru on Saturday morning.
Patrick Kakande first half super strike off Rogers Mugisha assist as well as Issa Bugembe second half strike off Haruna Lukwago assist sealed victory for the Hippos.
Jackson Mayanja fielded two different sides in either halves with an aim of continuing to identify different partnerships.
There was a horrific and scary moment in the second half when Hippos midfielder Andrew Kawooya got a knee injury after a collision with two Bul FC players.
Tottenham Hotspur U18 midfielder Kato Shaun Senkubuge also got some minutes in the encounter.
Training will continue on Sunday as the technical team gets set to trim the squad 10 days in residential camp at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
