The Uganda Hippos left this Thursday morning for Ghana to play their second leg match against the Black Satellites in the second round of the Africa U20 Youth Championship due this Saturday.
The 25-man contingent left aboard Kenya Airways at 5:07am with FUFA Vice President in charge of Technical matters Stone Kyambadde leading the delegation. The delegation comprised 18 players and seven officials.
Magoola Salim (Express) and Kalyowa Emmanuel (Simba) travelled as goalkeepers. The defenders on the squad are Ssenkoomi Samuel (URA) Namwanja Simon (Proline), Ochaya Joseph (KCC), Katende Miisi (SC Villa), Makoba Denis (Proline), Wadada Nicholas (Bunamwaya) and team Captain Mukisa Lubowa from Proline.
The Mid Field department has Mpande Joseph (Bunamwaya), Omonuk Robert (Simba), Ogwang Julius (Express), Nkata Fred (Bombo Utd), Kizito Geofrey (Vietnam), Gigi Abubaker (Proline) and Aucho Khalid (Simba SC). Ssekisambu Eriasi (URA) and Wadri William (Proline) travelled as strikers.
